For śotha/odema with water retention, ascites, mild–moderate hepatomegaly/fatty liver, dyspnoea on exertion, and dysuria with burning or scanty urine. Supports convalescence in kapha–pitta dominant metabolic sluggishness.

Dose & administration

15–30 ml, once or twice daily after meals, with equal warm water.

Review after 2–4 weeks; titrate to oedema, urine output and patient strength.
Cautions
Naturally contains fermented sugars & small amounts of alcohol—use cautiously in diabetes, advanced hepatic insufficiency, or with other diuretics; monitor electrolytes in prolonged use. Avoid in pregnancy; paediatric use only with specialist guidance. Discontinue if GI upset occurs.
Storage
Keep tightly closed, cool, and protected from light. Use under qualified Ayurvedic supervision.
